Predominately found in marshes on the west end of Galveston and Bolivar Peninsula.  Prefers livestock over humans and can often be found nears farms. 

Larval habitat: Breeds in grass fields, rice fields, retention ponds, and marshes.

Adult habitat: grass fields and marshes

Biting activity:  dusk, dawn, and night
