Larval habitat: temporary pools and woodland pools

Adult habitat: It prefers to stay in wooded areas. Predominately found in the northern parts of the county including Friendswood, League City, and Santa Fe.

Biting activity: Prefers to bite during dusk and dawn, but are persistent biters in shade and sunlight as well.

Flight range: Their flight range is 1/4 mile to 1/2 mile.
