Information on construction to property damaged by Hurricane Ike

and located in unincorporated areas of Galveston County, Texas

 

The General Land Office has adopted emergency rules to help expedite permitting for the repair of structures damaged by Hurricane Ike.  The emergency rules became effective on September 12, 2008 and remain effective for a period of 120 days from September 12, 2008.  Emergency Rule 15.17 relates to emergency repairs for the stabilization of structures damaged by Hurricane Ike.  Emergency Rule 15.18 relates to emergency measures for dune restoration or repairs to existing shoreline protection projects for littoral property impacted by Hurricane Ike.
